About CU Advisory

I am Christian Uhrig, Founder and Managing Director of CU Advisory GmbH, and a Governance, Risk, and Compliance professional with more than 25 years of experience across multinational corporations, mid-sized companies, and consulting.

This combination of hands-on business experience and strategic advisory expertise makes my approach particularly effective. I understand both the realities of operational execution and the requirements of modern GRC frameworks.

During my corporate career, I led the development of global risk and control systems, established enterprise-wide risk and control matrices, and managed international rollouts. In consulting, I have led GRC teams, built internal audit functions, implemented risk and control frameworks, and served as Chief Audit Executive for publicly listed companies.

As an Interim Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), or Head of Internal Audit, I assume responsibility from day one, combining a structured methodology, a hands-on mindset, and a strong focus on delivering measurable results.

My mission is simple: to reduce complexity, create transparency, and enable sustainable organizational performance.

With strong analytical skills, extensive leadership experience, and a pragmatic hands-on approach, I help organizations achieve their objectives efficiently, effectively, and with confidence.
